We have been closely monitoring the situation in Bahrain. We advise Singaporeans to take precautions when visiting Bahrain as the security situation, while showing signs of improvement, could change quickly. Singaporeans who want to travel to Bahrain and those who are already in Bahrain should keep in close touch with the Singapore Embassy in Riyadh and if they have not already done so, should eRegister immediately at http://eregister.mfa.gov.sg/. For their safety, Singaporeans are reminded to be alert, monitor the news closely, observe instructions from local security authorities and avoid areas of public gatherings and disturbances and to stay away from areas where they may occur.
