MFA Press Statement: Appointment of Singapore's Honorary Consul-General In Vancouver, Canada

The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of Canada, has appointed Mr Terrance K. Salman as Singapore's Honorary Consul-General in Vancouver, Canada, with jurisdiction over Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario. 

Mr Salman, 69, is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Salman Partners Inc., a company he founded in 1994, after having firmly established himself first in research then in investment banking. He spent 21 years with Nesbitt Thomson, as a research analyst and ultimately as Executive Vice-President and Director. He is currently on the Advisory Committee for the Investment Industry Association of Canada, Chair of the Vancouver Public Library Foundation and the Honorary Chair of the Britannia Development Corporation Fundraising Committee. Mr Salman was also recently honoured by the Vancouver Public Library which named its new branch at Hillcrest Centre, the Terry Salman Branch.
