Dear Prime Minister


I am deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the bombing in Oslo and the shooting on the island of Utoeya. On behalf of the people of Singapore, I would like to convey my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of these brutal and senseless attacks, as well as to the Government and people of Norway.


The attacks are a reminder that all countries must remain vigilant and resolute in countering terrorism. Singapore supports Norway's efforts to bring the perpetrators of these horrific and despicable acts to justice.
