Dear Prime Minister,
On behalf of the Government of Singapore, I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the 28th Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and for making history as Thailand's first-ever female Prime Minister. I am confident that Thailand will continue to progress under your leadership.
Singapore and Thailand are close neighbours and old friends. We share excellent people-to-people ties. Our bilateral cooperation is multi-faceted and continues to grow from strength to strength. We also share a common interest in building a more cohesive and integrated ASEAN Community in 2015.
I look forward to working closely with you to enhance our excellent bilateral cooperation and close friendship. Let me also take this opportunity to invite you to make an early introductory visit to Singapore.
