MFA Press Statement: Introductory Visit of Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam to the Republic of the Philippines, 11-12 August 2011

Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam will make his introductory visit to the Republic of the Philippines from 11 to 12 August 2011.

Minister Shanmugam will call on the Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert F. Del Rosario, who will also host lunch. During the visit, Minister Shanmugam will also have meetings with a number of Filipino Cabinet Ministers and other prominent personalities. The visit underscores the warm and friendly ties between Singapore and the Philippines.

Minister Shanmugam will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
