MFA Press Statement: Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam to attend the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam, will be in New York from 20 to 27 September 2011 to attend the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Minister Shanmugam will deliver a statement on behalf of the Singapore Government at the General Debate of the UNGA. While in New York, Minister Shanmugam will attend a number of meetings, including the High Level Meeting on Nuclear Safety and Security, Ministerial Meeting of the Global Governance Group (3G) and the Informal ASEAN Ministers Meeting. Minister Shanmugam will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries.
