MFA Press Statement: Visit of Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong to Seoul, the Republic of Korea, 4-6 September 2011

Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong will visit Seoul from 4 to 6 September 2011. During his visit, ESM will call on President of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Lee Myung-bak and meet key leaders of the major political parties. He will also hold discussions with prominent business leaders, media personalities and academics.

ESM will deliver the keynote speech at the J-Global Forum on 5 September 20111. This Forum is organised by the JoongAng Ilbo (JAI) - one of the largest newspapers in the ROK. It will be attended by business leaders, politicians, senior government officials, diplomats and academics. ESM will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
