Dear Prime Minister Erdogan
I am deeply saddened to learn about the loss of lives and destruction caused by the earthquake in Van Province on 23 October 2011. On behalf of the Government of Singapore and all Singaporeans, I would like to convey my deepest condolences to you and the people of Van Province, especially those who have lost their loved ones.
Singapore stands ready to assist as may be required. I am confident that, under the steadfast leadership of your government and with the resilience of your people, Turkey will overcome this tragedy with fortitude.
