MFA Press Statement: Visit by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli to Bengaluru, India, 14-15 November 2011

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit Bengaluru, India, from 14 to 15 November 2011 to attend the 11th Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC) Council of Ministers Meeting. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

While in Bengaluru, Minister of State Masagos will call on Minister of External Affairs S.M. Krishna, as well as meet Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda and other political and business leaders of the state of Karnataka.

Singapore is a member of the IOR-ARC, which is an international grouping that comprises 18 member states. The organisation seeks to promote economic cooperation and intra-regional trade among Indian Ocean littoral and island states.
