Dear Prime Minister
I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic bus accident in Switzerland that took the lives of 28 people, including so many Belgian school children returning from a school ski trip that should have been a happy and proud moment in their lives.
On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to you, to the families of the victims, and the people of Belgium for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your people in this time of sorrow and mourning.
