MFA Press Statement: Introductory Visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh to Singapore, 4-6 March 2012

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh will arrive in Singapore today for his introductory visit from 4 to 6 March 2012. Foreign Minister Minh will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam on 5 March 2012. Minister Shanmugam will host dinner for Foreign Minister Minh and his delegation that evening.

During the visit, Foreign Minister Minh will lay a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh Marker on the Asian Civilisations Museum Green in commemoration of the founding father of modern Vietnam. Foreign Minister Minh will be accompanied by his wife Madam Nguyen Nguyet Nga and senior officials from the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
