The Government of Mexico has issued a unilateral declaration waiving the visa requirement for Singaporean nationals who are holders of Diplomatic and Official passports. The Declaration will take effect on 17 May 2012. Singaporean holders of Ordinary passports already do not require a visa to travel to Mexico. Singapore does not have a visa requirement for Mexican nationals entering Singapore. As such, effective 17 May 2012, all passport holders of Singapore and Mexico will be able to travel visa-free between our two countries. We welcome this decision which will help strengthen and enhance links between Singapore and Mexico.
