Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Community Development, Youth and Sports Mr Sam Tan called on the UK Minister for Employment Relations, Consumer Relations, Consumer and Postal Affairs Mr Norman Lamb, and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister of State Mr Jeremy Browne in London on 3 September 2012.
In the meetings, they reaffirmed the good bilateral relations between Singapore and the UK, looked forward to the conclusion of the EU-Singapore FTA and exchanged views on developments in their respective regions.
After London, Mr Tan will visit Iceland to attend the 10th Conference of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region from 5 to 7 September 2012.
