Call on Minister K Shanmugam by Chief Justice of the Indonesian Constitutional Court Mohammad Mahfud MD, 7 February 2013 [Photo: MFA]

Chief Justice of the Indonesian Constitutional Court Dr Mahfud MD called on Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam this afternoon. They exchanged views on good governance and the legal systems in both countries.

Dr Mahfud also called on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen this morning. They discussed developments in Indonesia and the region.

Dr Mahfud is visiting Singapore from 6 to 7 February 2013 in conjunction with a speaking engagement organised by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies.
