Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will attend the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and Related Meetings in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, from 10 to 11 April 2013.
The meetings include the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM), 9th Meeting of the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Council, and 12th Meeting of the ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC). During the meetings, the Ministers will discuss key regional developments and progress in ASEAN’s efforts to realise its Community-Building goals by 2015.
The meetings will also coordinate preparations for the 22nd ASEAN Summit to be held in Bandar Seri Begawan from 24 to 25 April 2013.
