The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of the Republic of Italy, has appointed Mr Nicolò Marzotto as Singapore's new Honorary Consul-General in Rome, Italy, with jurisdiction over Rome.
Mr Marzotto comes from a prominent Italian family in the textile industry. He is the Vice President of Zignago Vetro Spa, a family business dealing in cave glass and listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. Mr Marzotto’s family is also active in the wine-making industry. Mr Marzotto is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Santa Margherita Spa.
