Your Majesty,
On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, please allow me to offer my warmest congratulations on your inauguration as King of the Belgians.
Singapore and Belgium enjoy good relations. We fondly recall Your Majesty’s visits to Singapore in 2008 and 2010, during which our two countries explored avenues to deepen our political and economic partnership. Under your reign, I look forward to further strengthening our bilateral cooperation in areas such as education, arts and culture, and science and technology.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Your Majesty and the people of Belgium a joyous National Day, which falls on the same day as Your Majesty’s inauguration.
