MFA Press Statement: Official Visit of Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Communist Party of China Tianjin Municipal Committee Sun Chunlan (18 to 21 November 2013)

Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Secretary of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee Sun Chunlan will visit Singapore from 18 to 21 November 2013 at the invitation of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Lim Swee Say. This will be Secretary Sun’s first visit to Singapore in her current capacity.

During her visit, Secretary Sun will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean. Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Lim Swee Say will host separate meals for Secretary Sun. Secretary Sun will also visit the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau, Port of Singapore Authority, Sengkang Community Club, Treelodge@Punggol, as well as developments in the Marina Bay area.
