MFA Press Statement : State Visit of President Tony Tan to the United Kingdom, 21 to 23 October 2014

President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam and Mrs Mary Tan have accepted an invitation from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to make a State Visit to the United Kingdom from 21 to 23 October 2014. This will be the first State Visit to the United Kingdom by a Singapore President.

The State Visit comes ahead of the 50^th anniversary of relations between Singapore and the United Kingdom in 2015, and marks the excellent and long-standing relations between both countries.
