Mr Lu Wei, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and Office Director of the Central Leading Group for Cyber-Security and Informatisation, called on Mr Teo Chee Hean, Acting Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs, on 26 June 2014. During the meeting, Acting PM Teo and Vice Minister Lu reaffirmed the strong and multi-faceted relations between Singapore and China, and agreed that there were many areas where both countries could work together and learn from each other. They also had a general exchange of views on ongoing discussions in Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) meetings.
Vice-Minister Lu is visiting Singapore at the invitation of ICANN Singapore.
