The Indonesian guests included North Sumatra Governor Gatot Pujo Nugroho, Tangerang Mayor Arief Wismansyah, Jambi Mayor Syarif Fasha, Makassar Mayor Mohammad Ramdhan Pomanto, Palu Mayor Rusdy Mastura, Medan Acting Mayor Dzulmi Eldin and Head of Batam City Municipality and Planning Board Wan Darussalam.
During the lunch, SMS Masagos had a wide-ranging discussion with the Indonesian regional leaders on Singapore’s development experience and developments in Indonesia. They also discussed various ways to strengthen cooperation between Singapore and the Indonesian regions, including sharing best practices and deepening people-to-people ties.
