MFA Press Statement: Visit of Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli to East Java, Indonesia, 20 to 22 August 2014

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli is currently visiting East Java, Indonesia.

SMS Masagos met Vice Governor of East Java Saifullah Yusuf today. They exchanged views on ways to strengthen relations between Singapore and East Java. They discussed how Singapore and East Java could deepen economic cooperation and people-to-people ties. SMS invited East Java officials to participate in courses run under the Singapore Cooperation Programme.

SMS also called on Deputy Speaker of the East Java Parliament (DPRD) Sirmadji.
