Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli is on a working visit in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 13 to 16 October 2014.
SMS Masagos called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on 14 October where they affirmed the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Bangladesh, and had a good discussion on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation. SMS Masagos also held separate meetings with Special Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr Gowher Rizvi, Minister for Foreign Affairs Abul Hassan Mahmood, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, and Minister of State for Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu, where they discussed furthering co-operation in various fields. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam also hosted SMS Masagos to an official dinner.
In addition to Minister for Housing and Public Works Mosharraf Hossain and Minister of State for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan, SMS Masagos will be meeting leaders from various political parties and grace a reception hosted for the Singapore community over the next two days. He will also visit a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
