MFA Press Statement: CALL ON PRIME MINISTER LEE HSIEN LOONG BY MAYOR OF LONDON BORIS JOHNSON 28 NOVEMBER 2014

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong received a call by Mayor of London Boris Johnson during the latter’s first working visit to Singapore from 27 to 29 November 2014. PM Lee and Mr Johnson discussed the challenges facing global cities and took note of the dense links between Singapore and London that are based on complementarities between the two cities. They also exchanged views on developments in Asia and Europe, as well as other international issues.

Mr Johnson, who is also visiting Indonesia and Malaysia as part of a regional tour to promote trade and investment, will depart Singapore on 29 November 2014.
