Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Didier Reynders during the latter’s visit to Singapore. The two Ministers reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations between Belgium and Singapore and looked forward to the early ratification of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. They also discussed global and regional issues, which concern both Belgium and Singapore.
Mr Reynders is in Singapore as part of the high-level delegation led by Princess Astrid of Belgium to promote economic relations between the two countries.
