MFA Press Statement: Meeting between President Tony Tan Keng Yam and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, 17 November 2014

President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy called on President Tony Tan Keng Yam on 17 November 2014. President Tan also hosted a luncheon for Mr Van Rompuy and his delegation. President Tan and Mr Van Rompuy reaffirmed the close relations and good cooperation between Singapore and the EU. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, including the discussions at the recently-concluded G20 Summit in Brisbane, Australia.

Mr Van Rompuy is on a working visit to Singapore from 17 to 18 November 2014.
