Your Majesty,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty the Dowager Queen Fabiola. On behalf of the people of Singapore, I offer our deepest condolences to you and the people of Belgium.
The late Dowager Queen will be remembered for her grace and her dedication to the Belgian people. She worked tirelessly in support of various charities and social projects. She was also a great patron of the arts. Together with His Majesty the late King Baudouin, the Dowager Queen visited Singapore in 1964.
