Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for the Environment & Water Resources and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Grace Fu will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from 21 to 24 January 2015.
The WEF Annual Meeting is a platform for leaders in government, industry and academia to engage in discussions and collaborative activities that seek to address evolving global challenges.
While in Davos, Minister Fu is scheduled to speak at several sessions, including sessions on issues related to water; ageing and how ageing populations can help drive economic growth; and transnational university partnerships and their potential to boost economic growth and job creation. Minister Fu will also take part in a session involving government and business leaders from ASEAN, to discuss the future of ASEAN in the new global context, particularly with the creation of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
Minister Fu will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
