Your Majesty,

My wife Mary and I send Your Majesty and His Royal Highness Prince Philip our warmest congratulations on the birth of your youngest great-granddaughter.  We share in the joy and the jubilation of the British people.

The people of Singapore, who fondly recall The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Singapore in 2012 for Your Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, are delighted by this wonderful news.  We were also touched by the warm hospitality extended by The Duke and Duchess, and Your Majesty and Prince Philip, during our State Visit to the UK in October 2014.

We have no doubt that your great-granddaughter will be blessed with good fortune.  Our best wishes for your continued good health and success in the years to come.

Yours sincerely,

TONY TAN KENG YAM

Your Royal Highnesses,

My wife Mary and I would like to send you our warmest congratulations on the birth of your first daughter.  We share in the jubilation of the British people on this joyous occasion.

The people of Singapore fondly recall Your Royal Highnesses’ visit to Singapore in 2012 for Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. We were also touched by the warm hospitality shown by Your Royal Highnesses during our State Visit to the UK in October 2014.

We are delighted that your first daughter is born in the same year that Singapore is celebrating her 50th year of national independence (or SG50).  On behalf of the people of Singapore, I would like to present to Your Royal Highnesses our SG50 Baby Jubilee Gift package, a unique gift specially commissioned and given to all Singaporean babies born this year.  The SG50 Baby Jubilee Gift symbolises our collective best wishes and hopes for the next generation of Singaporeans.  We would similarly like to extend the very best wishes from the people of Singapore to your first daughter through this special gift.

Please accept our best wishes for your good health and success.  We look forward to meeting your growing family in the near future.

Yours sincerely,
