MFA Press Statement: Visit by Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large, Negara Brunei Darussalam, 7 to 10 May 2015

        

            Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large, Negara Brunei Darussalam will visit Singapore from 7 to 10 May 2015.  Her Royal Highness’ last official visit was in 2002, when she visited under the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship.

            Her Royal Highness is visiting  Singapore at the invitation of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Grace Fu, who will host her to a welcome meal.  Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will also meet Her Royal Highness.  In addition,  Her Royal Highness will visit the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS), tour the special exhibition: “In Memoriam: Lee Kuan Yew” at the National Museum of Singapore, and visit Gardens by the Bay.

           This visit is the latest in a series of exchange of visits between the leaders of both countries and reaffirms the warm and long-standing ties between Singapore and Brunei.
