Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit two African countries, the Republic of Angola and the Republic of Mozambique, from 1 to 5 June 2015. Minister Masagos will meet political leaders, senior government officials and business leaders in both countries to discuss bilateral cooperation and business opportunities.
Angola and Mozambique are two of the fastest growing economies in southern Africa. Minister Masagos’ visit is part of a series of ministerial-level visits from Singapore to Sub-Saharan Africa to signal our growing political and economic relations with the region, and to explore new markets for Singapore companies.
Minister Masagos will be accompanied by a business delegation comprising representatives from 13 Singapore companies. In addition, Minister Masagos will deliver the opening remarks at two separate business forums organised by the Singapore Business Federation in Luanda and Maputo.
Minister Masagos will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and International Enterprise Singapore.
