                    In response to media queries on the passage of Trade Promotion Authority in the US Congress on 24 June 2015, the MFA Spokesman said:

                    “Singapore welcomes the passage of Trade Promotion Authority legislation in the US Congress on 24 June 2015.  This is an important development that will facilitate the conclusion of negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership.”
