Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make a working visit to Jakarta from 23 to 25 November 2015. During the visit, DPM Teo is scheduled to meet senior members of the Indonesian government, including President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan, as well as other leading personalities from politics and business.
This visit is part of the regular, high-level bilateral engagements between Singapore and Indonesia, and follows Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen’s visit to Jakarta in September 2015, Vice-President Jusuf Kalla’s visit to Singapore in August 2015, and President Joko Widodo’s State Visit to Singapore in July 2015.
DPM Teo will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, and the National Security Coordination Secretariat.
