The President of the Bundesrat and Minister-President of Saxony, Mr Stanislaw Tillich, called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today. PM Lee thereafter hosted dinner for Minister-President Tillich. PM Lee and Minister-President Tillich discussed opportunities to expand economic cooperation between Singapore and Saxony. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
Minister-President Tillich is in Singapore on a working visit from 28 to 30 April 2016. In addition to calling on PM Lee, he met Speaker Halimah Yacob and Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang. Minister Lim was also the Guest-of-Honour at a business luncheon organised by the Singapore-Germany Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
