MFA Press Statement: Visit by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean to the Kingdom of Thailand, 29 to 30 May 2016

Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make a working visit to Thailand from 29 to 30 May 2016.

During the visit, DPM Teo will have an audience with and be hosted to dinner by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He will meet Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and key members of the Thai government, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence General Prawit Wongsuwon, and Minister of Interior General Anupong Paochinda. DPM Teo will also call on President of the Privy Council General Prem Tinsulanonda. He will meet Singaporeans living in Thailand at a dinner reception.

DPM Teo will be accompanied by Government Parliamentary Committee (Defence and Foreign Affairs) Chairperson Vikram Nair, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the National Security Coordination Secretariat.
