MFA Press Statement: Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, to the State of Qatar

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman will visit Qatar from 20 to 22 May 2016 to attend the 16th Doha Forum on “Stability and Prosperity for All”. The annual Forum, organised by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, brings together policy-makers and other influential personalities to discuss key Middle East developments. SMS Maliki will be speaking on the topic: “Security” at the Forum.

While in Doha, SMS Maliki will call on Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Dr Issa Bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi and have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 16^th Doha Forum. SMS Maliki will also be meeting the Republic of Singapore Air Force personnel who are part of the KC-135R detachment. The detachment is part of Singapore’s contributions to the multinational coalition against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
