In response to press queries about the killing of a priest at a church in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray in Normandy, France, the MFA spokesperson said:

“Singapore condemns this terrorist attack in a house of worship. Nothing can justify such a brutal act. We express our deepest condolences and hope the injured will recover quickly.”
