His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik ibni Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah will make a visit to Singapore from 15 to 19 August 2016 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. His Royal Highness will be accompanied by his wife, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Roselan Daud, and a number of senior officials.
His Royal Highness and Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah will be hosted to tea by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee, and to dinner by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean and Mrs Teo. Minister Balakrishnan will also host His Royal Highness to a welcome lunch.
In addition, His Royal Highness will meet Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin; Acting Minister for Education (Schools) Ng Chee Meng; and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Finance Sim Ann. His Royal Highness will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport Josephine Teo on a tour of the Gardens by the Bay. His Royal Highness will also receive briefings at the Home Team Tactical Centre, Police Operations Command Centre, SPRING Singapore, Economic Development Board, National Security Coordination Secretariat, and the Strategy Group in the Prime Minister’s Office. His Royal Highness will also visit *SCAPE and Yayasan MENDAKI.
The visit by His Royal Highness is the latest in a series of regular exchanges between Singapore and Brunei, and reaffirms the strong links between our countries.
