Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj, who is in Singapore for an official visit today, called on Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. This is the first official visit by a Kosovar leader to Singapore since the establishment of diplomatic relations on 1 December 2016. The Ministers welcomed the establishment of relations and discussed possible areas of bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
Minister Hoxhaj also called on Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. In addition, Minister Hoxhaj had a meeting at the Singapore Business Federation to encourage Singapore businesses to explore business opportunities in Kosovo.
Minister Hoxhaj departs Singapore tonight.
