MFA Press Statement: Visit by Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong to Hainan, People's Republic of China, 24 to 25 March 2017

Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong will attend the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference in Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China, from 24 to 25 March 2017. ESM, who is a member of the BFA Board of Directors, will attend BFA Board meetings, and participate in a panel session on “Globalization & Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives” as well as a joint meeting between Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Gaoli and the BFA Board of Directors. ESM will also have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the BFA Annual Conference.

ESM will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Trade and Industry Sim Ann, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry.
