Following the visit of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Mongolia in July 2016, the Government of Mongolia has agreed to waive the visa facility for Singapore nationals entering Mongolia. With effect from 8 June 2017, Singapore nationals travelling to Mongolia for tourism or business, for a stay of up to 30 days, will be exempted from applying for a visa. The exemption of visa requirements will facilitate greater tourism and business exchanges, and strengthen the friendly relations between Singapore and Mongolia.
