Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Don Pramudwinai will make an official visit to Singapore from 21 to 22 August 2017, at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.

During the visit, Minister Don will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.  Minister Balakrishnan will have a bilateral meeting with and also host lunch for Minister Don.

Minister Balakrishnan and Minister Don will jointly officiate the Opening Ceremony of the 13th Coordinating Meeting of the Thailand-Singapore Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP13) on 22 August 2017. Since its inception in 1998, CSEP has become an important platform for the two countries to strengthen the linkages between our civil services, exchange ideas and explore new avenues for cooperation. CSEP is co-chaired by Mr Chee Wee Kiong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, and Mrs Busaya Mathelin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and involves more than 30 agencies through 13 cooperation clusters.[1] The theme for CSEP13, “An Enduring Partnership for a New Age”, reflects both countries’ desire to build a lasting and durable relationship as we work together to meet the challenges in a rapidly changing global environment.
