            Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Health, Amrin Amin visited Perak, Malaysia from 10 to 12 September 2017. 

            Parliamentary Secretary Amrin attended the Pangkor Dialogue 2017 from 11 to 12 September 2017, and delivered remarks at the panel discussion on “ASEAN @ 50 and Beyond” earlier today. Parliamentary Secretary Amin spoke on Singapore’s perspectives on ASEAN and its progress in fostering regional cooperation, amidst the backdrop of ASEAN’s 50th Anniversary this year and Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2018.

         At the Pangkor Dialogue 2017, Parliamentary Secretary Amrin attended a Royal Luncheon hosted by His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-lah, the Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and the Sultan of Perak.  Parliamentary Secretary Amrin also had meals with Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry bin Abdul Kadir, and Perak State Legislative Assembly Speaker Puan Thangasvari Suppiah.  Parliamentary Secretary Amrin also met other Perak State leaders and Wanita UMNO Chairperson Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.  Parliamentary Secretary Amrin returns to Singapore today.
