His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 30 October to 2 November 2017. This is the second official visit to Singapore by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, since his first in 1979, and the first official visit to Singapore by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall.
This visit reaffirms the historic and long-standing relationship between Singapore and the United Kingdom. Their Royal Highnesses will receive a ceremonial welcome at the Istana on 31 October 2017, followed by a courtesy call on President Halimah Yacob. President Halimah will host an official dinner in honour of Their Royal Highnesses. Their Royal Highnesses will have a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. They will also have an orchid named in their honour.
Their Royal Highnesses will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph. In connection with their interests in the arts, heritage conservation, and interfaith relations, Their Royal Highnesses will also visit the Harmony Centre, National Gallery Singapore, and attend a Commonwealth literacy event.
