MFA Press Statement: Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman to Switzerland, 17 to 19 December 2017

Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SMS) Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will make a working visit to Zürich and Bern, Switzerland from 17 to 19 December 2017 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations in 2017.

In Bern, SMS Maliki will call on Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis and meet senior Swiss officials.

SMS Maliki will host a reception for the Singaporean community in Zürich and have meetings with Swiss business leaders. He will also pay a visit to the campus of ETH Zürich, which has collaborated with Singapore’s National Research Foundation (NRF) to establish the Singapore – ETH Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability in Singapore.

SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
