Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship - Visit of Her Excellency Dr Dariga Nazarbayeva Chairperson of the Senate Committee for International Relations, Defence and Security, Republic of Kazakhstan, 19 to 20 Feb 2018

Chairperson of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Senate Committee for International Relations, Defence and SecurityHer Excellency Dr Dariga Nazarbayeva will visit Singapore as the 63^rd Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellow from 19 to 20 February 2018. Dr Nazarbayeva will be the first Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellow from Kazakhstan.

While in Singapore, Dr Nazarbayeva will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin. She will also be hosted to lunch by Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Dr Koh Poh Koon. Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship (LKYEF) Chairman Eddie Teo will meet and host a welcome dinner in honour of Dr Nazarbayeva.

Established in 1991, the LKYEF invites outstanding individuals for high-level visits to Singapore. The Fellows are chosen on the basis of their track records and extraordinary potential to contribute to the development of their nations and to promote bilateral relations with Singapore.
