Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will make a working visit to Vienna, the Republic of Austria from 15 to 17 July 2018, and to Bucharest, Romania from 17 to 20 July 2018. This visit is part of efforts to explore new cooperation opportunities in and deepen ties with Europe.
In Vienna, SMS Maliki will meet Secretary General for Foreign Affairs at the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Johannes Peterlik and Austrian business leaders, and make a site visit to an Austrian company with interests in Singapore. SMS will also attend a reception with overseas Singaporeans based in Austria.
In Bucharest, SMS Maliki will call on Vice Prime Minister for Romania’s Strategic Partnerships’ Implementation Ana Birchall, Minister for Foreign Affairs Teodor-Viorel Meleșcanu and Minister for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship Ştefan-Radu Oprea.
SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
