Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Sam Tan visited Wuhan (Hubei) and Changsha (Hunan) from 18 to 21 July 2018.
In Wuhan, MOS Tan met Vice Governor of Hubei Province Tong Daochi and Vice Mayor of Wuhan City Xu Honglan. In Changsha, MOS Tan met Vice Governor of Hunan Province Chen Fei and Mayor of Changsha City Hu Zhongxiong. They had good discussions on developments in Central China as well as in the respective provinces and cities. They agreed to deepen cooperation in a wide range of areas, including modern services such as finance and healthcare.
MOS Tan graced the opening of Singapore company Perennial’s first eldercare project in Wuhan and visited Sany Heavy Industry in Changsha. He also met representatives from Singapore-based companies in Wuhan and Changsha.
MOS Tan and the delegation will return to Singapore tomorrow.
