Since India’s independence in 1947, relations between Singapore and India have made significant progress. We have built on our Strategic Partnership by deepening our cooperation in many areas including trade and investment, defence, smart cities and skills development. This year, Singapore and India forged new avenues of cooperation in areas such as FinTech. I am confident that bilateral relations between our two countries will continue to flourish and reach new heights.
