Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development Sam Tan will visit Inari, Finland from 16 to 19 September 2018 to attend the 13th Conference of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region (CPAR).

First held in 1993, the CPAR is a biennial conference attended by representatives of the national parliaments of the eight Arctic Council (AC) Member States (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and the US) and the European Parliament. In addition to attending the CPAR meetings, MOS Tan will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts, as well as meet the Presidents of the Saami Parliaments of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
